Leather purses galore...

In early 2003 Cassandra had a vision of a giant leather purse. A leather handbag soooo large that it could hold a small European vehicle, such as a Smart Car. She decided at that time to create a store where leather purses were king - or rather, Queen. Leather purses, designer leather handbags, leather messenger bags, and leather backpacks from designers like David King, Francesco Biasia, Hobo International, Lodis, Victoria Leather Company and many others would fill the shelves and satisfy fashion mavens like herself. Literally on top of this leather purse paradise she would construct a giant handbag in the form of a Hobo International classic.

She decided that she also needed a mascot. So she found the perfect fashion mannequin and with a little ingenuity, chopped off and replaced the left arm with an arm fit to hold Troppe Borse - that's "too many purses" to you and I and that mascot is now our logo - her arm dangling with many leather purses. Having accomplished her preparatory tasks, she stocked the shelves with leather handbags, leather purses, leather backpacks,, leather wallets and a selection of shoes, hats and accessories for good measure, all from the top designers. And these weren't just any shelves, they are custom designed leather handbag cubes, each with a special set of walls and lights to perfectly showcase each and every leather purse in them.

When all was ready, she opened the doors to her store, located on Minaret Road in the picturesque ski town of Mammoth Lakes, California and began to offer her wares to the world. Come by some time if you're ever in town; you can't miss the giant handbag above the door.
